Ella Bulley Studio is collaborating with Philippe Sonou, presenting 'Artistry on a Plate'. A curated immersive culinary experience for Black history month celebrating West African cuisine.
On Wednesday 23 October 2024 Philippe Sonou, a renowned chef and Ella Bulley, a material designer and artist come together fusing design and cuisine to translate stories of tradition and vibrant flavours into a spatial experience. Their aim is to taking the audience on a journey to discover the rich flavours of Benin and Ghana, it is an alternative approach to drive change by highlighting the potential of west African food as an inclusive and sustainable food system.
The experience will be hosted at South London Louie, where guests will enjoy a serving of 5 courses, including vegan options. A curated cocktail menu will also be available on the evening, introducing the audience to African sprits and non-alcoholic beverage recipes.
Attendees will have access to exclusive product list to purchase items displayed and tasted at the event, a bespoke music playlist.
